Here you can see my new completely sefldesigned aluminium flywheel. The centre is made of 42CrMo4 hardened to 56HRC; the aluminium part is made of EN AW-2024.
The ring gear is heat shrunk and can be secured additionally if desired. The friction surface can be changed if needed.
The flywheel weights 3,3kg total - the stressed threads a helicoiled to provide long service life. A friend and me will test the new flywheels next season...
